Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino unveils new Glass Bar lounge, set to debut this winter
Las Vegas Strip's Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has announced the opening of Glass Bar, a new bar and lounge set to replace the former Heart Bar near the Bakkt Theater. Slated to open this winter, the lounge will be located at the center of the casino floor.
Designed by architecture and design firm Rockwell Group, the 4,000-square-foot Glass Bar will feature a sophisticated ambiance with a chrome brass frame and thousands of crystal prisms. These elements are expected to create a unique ombre lighting effect, enhanced by faceted, mirrored columns that "reflect the light and energy throughout the bar," the casino said.
The bar will offer an array of entertainment options, including bar-top games and six television screens for sports viewing. Guests also will have the opportunity to enjoy personalized bottle service, craft cocktails, and a selection of premium spirits and beers.
The cocktail menu offers drinks such as the Fruit & Pebble, a concoction of Bacardi Superior rum, fruity pebble syrup, lime juice and fruity pebble dust as a garnish; and the Casino Carnival, which blends Grey Goose Strawberry & Lemongrass Vodka with passionfruit puree, lime juice, sparkling wine and a cotton candy garnish.
Additionally, the Light Show cocktail, featuring Ketel One Cucumber & Mint Vodka and Lagoon Bay Aperitif, topped off with Fever Tree cucumber tonic water, is served in a glowing blue vessel, making it "perfect for Instagram."
“We are excited to bring a gorgeous new cocktail bar to Planet Hollywood,” said Jason Gregorec, SVP and General Manager of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. “Glass Bar is the perfect venue for our guests to grab a cocktail before or after one of our incredible shows at Bakkt Theater.”
