Clark County Commissioners imposed a mask mandate on employees who work indoors at Las Vegas businesses. The decision comes amidst a surge in Nevada’s COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations due to the new Delta variant. Nonemployees are not required to be masked.
The Venetian Expo will be called the Sands Expo & Convention Center as of Sept. 2. The name change is in conjunction with the pending sale of the entire Veneta/Palazzo/Expo property.
Sand Dollar Lounge will open a second location at the Plaza this fall. The first location opened in 1976 on Spring Mountain Road near the Strip.
Sports books are allowed to take bets on Olympic events that aren't decided by judging. It will be up to the books to offer lines if they want to, but not all will, due to low demand. Las Vegas reinstates rules on masks for employees.
