Betsson Nordic was found not guilty in a court case. The association SGA lost a case against Betsson Nordic. The court ruled in favour of Bettson. Sga tried to fine Betxson 20 million SEK but the court said the fine lacked legal grounds.
Sweden’s Government is facing criticism. The Committee on the Constitution has criticised the temporary restrictions on online gambling. BOS represents gambling companies and game developers that target Swedish consumers. They want the government to end the restrictions. Löfven has said that they are not focusing on new bills at the moment, as the fragile government is taking priority.
There are no concrete dates regarding changes to Swedish law. The only concrete date is the temporary gambling restrictions being removed in November of this year.
