Gun Lake Casino launches online sportsbook
WAYLAND, MI — Gun Lake Casino announced Thursday that it has launched a new online sports gambling platform.
The Play Gun Lake online sportsbook, a partnership with Parx Casino, provides gamblers with access to an array of U.S. and international sports, including pro and college football, basketball, baseball, golf, hockey, soccer, boxing, mixed martial arts, tennis and more, according to a news release.
“We are thrilled to announce the official debut of Gun Lake Casino’s online sportsbook. Our dedication to providing an exceptional sports betting experience has now been expanded to a convenient and accessible service online,” Jose Flores, vice president and general manager for Gun Lake Casino, said in a statement.
“The combination of our partnership with Parx Casino and the Kambi platform has allowed us to create an online sports betting option that reflects Gun Lake Casino’s unsurpassed standards. We could not be more excited to provide players with the latest high-quality sportsbook in the state of Michigan.”
Gun Lake Casino, which opened in 2011, features over 2,200 slot machines, 47 table games, a 225-seat cafe, a 300-seat buffet as well as bars, lounges and live entertainment. It’s owned by the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi.
In April, tribal officials announced a planned $300 million expansion that would bring a new hotel, pool, spa and restaurant to the casino.
Michigan launched online gambling in January. Ten sports betting operators and eight online casinos launched Jan. 22 in Michigan.
