Playtech Makes Its Long-Anticipated US Live Dealer Casino Debut
Evolution Gaming lost its effective monopoly on live dealercasino gaming in the US. Playtech has launched its live dealer products via online casino operators in Michigan and New Jersey. Aristocrat Leisure and JKO Play are interested in buying PlayTech. Scientific Games acquired Authentic Games in November to enter the live casino market.
Playtech's stock price shot up from $12 to $18.33 after Aristocrat's takeover bid. Playtech leaders have plans to launch the live dealer gambling studios in Atlantic City and Southfield, Michigan.
Both facilities represent the initial launch of Playtech’s entertainment-led Live Casino offering in the US.
Playtech's live dealer games are already popular. Bet365 in New Jersey listed live roulette at No. 1 in its new online casino products.
Playtech launched a new game Bet365 on Christmas Eve. It allows unlimited number of players to participate in a game.

Playtech and Parx are launching a live dealer casino in Michigan. It took them eight months to get approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board. The studio will be located in Southfield, 20 minutes northwest of Detroit. The casino will compete with Scientific Games.
Playtech plans to repeat the process to each state's specifications.
