GAN Limited acquires Bulgaria-, UK-based Silverback Gaming

SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 14 (SeeNews) - NASDAQ-listed internet gaming (iGaming) software-as-a-service provider GAN Limited has completed its acquisition of Bulgaria- and UK-based online casino game developer Silverback Gaming on undisclosed terms, it said.
The acquisition provides GAN with the exclusive rights globally to all current and future Silverback online games, which are expected to include 50 unique new slot games in the next three years, GAN said in a press release last week.
The Silverback Gaming acquisition is part of GAN’s strategy to increase its "take rate" on existing business-to-business (B2B) gross operator revenue derived from iGaming, as well as to grow GAN’s share of iGaming revenues from business-to-client (B2C) operators in the U.S. who are not already the company's platform clients, GAN explained.
Silverback’s existing portfolio of online slot games will launch within GAN’s SuperRGS aggregation platform, starting in the first half of 2022.
Silverback Gaming is making immersive online casino games. It owns proven online slot games such as Aztec Luck and Mystery Stacks, currently distributed across European regulated markets to more than 100 B2C operators of iGaming.
GAN Limited is a B2B supplier of internet gambling software-as-a-service solutions, mostly to the U.S. land-based casino industry, as well as an operator of proprietary online sports betting technology in some countries in Europe and Latin America through its Coolbet division.
