- On August 24th 2023, The Queen of Baton Rouge opened its doors. Located near the Mississippi River and the Louisiana State Capitol, The Queen of Baton Rouge boasts more than 100,000 square feet of casino space.
There are also over 6,000 square feet of event and meeting space available. The existing, popular riverboat casino moved to a larger version of its atrium. The valet parking area was transformed into an indoor space, and visitors can expect over 700 gaming machines, 18 gaming tables and a DraftKings Sportsbook.
For smokers, there is a dedicated patio where they can indulge, and for diners, there are three fast-food restaurants.
- Opening its doors on September 25 2023, Rosie’s Gaming Emporium is off Interstate 95 in Emporia. With 21,000 square feet of gaming floor, visitors can expect 150 Historic Horses Racing games (HHR) in a no-smoking area and another 150 games in a smoking area, as well as a betting area where visitor can place their bets on current and active horse races happening across the country.
