Louisiana Casino: Belle of Baton Rouge Sold to CQ Holding
Louisiana's Belle of Baton Rouge Casino Hotel sold to CQ Holding Company. The sale was agreed in December 2020, but delayed several times.
Belle of Baton Rouge was Louisiana's first casino. Caesars Entertainment sold it to CQ Holding. Cq Holding also owns DraftKings at Casino Queen in East St Louis, Casino Marquette in Marquete, Iowa and Hollywood Casino in St. Louis.

CQ Holding Company acquired Belle of Baton Rouge. Terry Downey, President and CEO of CQ, said it's an exciting opportunity to enhance the gaming and other amenities in the Baton Rogue community.
Louisiana became the first state in the United States to legalize mobile sports betting earlier this year. The state’s online sportsbooks took in $205.7 million in wagers in March, which is a decrease from the previous month's total of $211 million.
