Foxwoods Resort Casino has reported slot revenue of $29.7 million for the month of March 2021. This is an $8 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenues contribution agreement. Since 1993, the tribe has deposited over $4 billion of Foxwoods” slot money into the state's budget fund. On March 18, Governor Ned Lamont signed an agreement that will allow the Connecticut to modernize gaming options available to state residents.
