The new upscale event will provide attendees with an intimate, one-of-a-kind experience with Flyers players, coaches and other team personalities with 100% of net proceeds benefitting Flyers Charities and its work throughout the Greater Philadelphia community

Today, the Philadelphia Flyers and Flyers Charities announced the team's first-ever Casino Night, to be held on January 12 at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The new upscale event will provide attendees with an intimate, one-of-a-kind experience with Flyers players, coaches and other team personalities. The event will start at 7 p.m. for general admission tickets and 6 p.m. for VIP ticket holders. All net proceeds of the event will benefit Flyers Charities.

"The Philadelphia Flyers community has always been incredibly charitable, and this new, special event is a great way for us to raise important funds for Flyers Charities and its work to support families impacted by cancer, grow the game of hockey, and invest in environmental sustainability," said Valerie Camillo, President and CEO of Spectacor Events and Entertainment.

Hosted by Flyers radio color commentator Steve Coates with music provided by in-arena host, Everett "DJ Hollywood" Jackson, the event will give attendees the opportunity to play casino-style games including blackjack, poker, roulette and Big Six Wheel alongside their favorite players with a chance to win high-value prizes (additional details to be announced soon). Tickets to the event include open bar and hors d'oeuvres, Vegas-style entertainment, a one-of-a-kind gift, and access to a silent auction with high-end prizes and experiences.

Tickets to the event will include playing chips (100 for general admission and 250 for VIP), and attendees are encouraged to earn as many chips as possible throughout the night. The three attendees with the most chips at the end of the night will win high-end prizes.

Fans looking to elevate their night can purchase VIP tickets for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to mingle and take photos with players and other VIPs on a red carpet. VIPs attendees will enjoy top-shelf drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres along with additional entertainment before the main event. A limited number of both general admission and VIP tickets will be sold and sell outs are expected. Dress attire for the event is cocktail/formal, and attendees must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
