While Las Vegas in home to some of the best casinos in the world, outside of Sin City, Florida, is home to the third best casino in the nation.

Located 20 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale in the city of Hallandale Beach, Gulfstream Park is not just a casino, it’s also one of the most important venues for Thoroughbred horse racing — as well as an outdoor entertainment and shopping destination.

To find the best casinos in America, the Hudson Reporter analyzed six factors related to 850 casinos nationwide, including TripAdvisor rating, total TripAdvisor rating count, Google rating, total Google review count, Instagram hashtag count and average monthly search volume –to create an index that scored each casino out of 100 possible points.

Outside of Las Vegas, it’s number three, but even if all the casinos in Las Vegas are included, Gulfstream still makes the top ten list of best casinos in the U.S. —coming in tenth place, overall, with a score of 69.

With over 6,000 reviews, Gulfstream Park, averages 4.5 stars on Google.

Comparatively, the Venetian Resort Las Vegas was crowned the overall best casino across America, with a score of 87.22.

Other Las Vegas casinos to make the cut, include in second place, the Bellagio Hotel & Casino (82.70), in third place the Wynn Las Vegas (79.80), in fourth, the Red Rock Casino (78.86), in fifth, the ARIA Resort & Casino (75.50), in sixth, the Encore Las Vegas (74.06) and in seventh, The Cosmopolitan (72.05).

Coming it at number eight overall – and first casino outside of Las Vegas on the list, is the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi with a score of 69.15 — and in ninth place, the M Resort Spa Casino in Henderson, Nevada, scoring 69.03.
