FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan, is opening its expanded Hotel resort next in a ceremony that will feature world-famed tightrope walker Nik Wallenda.

Wallenda is the most celebrated tightrope walker in the world and has been dubbed the ‘King of the High Wire’. He has walked across Niagara Falls, Masaya Volcano in Nicaragua, and a gorge in the Grand Canyon.

The daredevil will take the stage in Michigan on 16th August at the Nottawaseppi Huron tribal casino. The performance will be free and spectators are encouraged to attend.

The FireKeepers casino is opening a second hotel tower, its first eight-story hotel opened in 2012. The second is also eight stories and features 203 guestrooms plus a 39, 000-foot lobby bar, a gaming area, a front desk, and a restaurant.

The tower was initially scheduled to open in December 2020. The completion was however delayed due to supply chain issues during the pandemics. The current casino features 2, 900 slot machines, 25 table poker, 70 table games, a bingo and keno venue, and a sportsbook.

FireKeepers tribal casino is situated west of Ann Arbor and 100 miles west of Detroit. The casino plans to attract visitors through entertainment. The resort has a robust schedule of celebrity events coming to Battle Creek.
