Bellagio Las Vegas Spa Tower Renovation
The Bellagio Las Vegas has been a Sin City icon for over 25 years. And now, the already spectacular destination is getting even better thanks to the completion of a $110-million upgrade.
Specifically, that $110 million was invested in reinvigorating its guest rooms and suites in its Spa Tower, which will be open to travelers this month. The redesign was helmed by New York City–based interior design atelier Champalimaud Design, in partnership with MGM Resorts International Design Group, who came together to give the Spa Tower an enhanced, more sophisticated look via custom furnishings and bespoke art, evoking eternally chic Italian style.
"We wanted to create a residential aesthetic with the timeless sense of luxury that is uniquely Bellagio," said Winston Kong, partner at Champalimaud Design, in a statement released to Travel + Leisure. "We found inspiration in the colors of Lake Como's surrounding flora and the classical style of the building's architecture."
Inside the tower's rooms and suites, guests will now find calming spaces that feel a world away from the chaotic energy of The Strip. Here, guests are enveloped in neutral hues punctuated by colorful custom furnishings and accent pieces, each inspired by styles you'd find in Northern Italy. Soft pinks, pomegranate reds, indigo, and golden-hued pillows and poufs abound, while white and gray marble tables anchor every room's center, each gleaming in the sun shining through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows. The luxurious touches extend into the bathrooms as well, thanks to white marble vanities and motion-sensor lights activated whenever guests enter.
"Bellagio's commitment to delivering unparalleled accommodations, experiences, and guest service for our discerning guests from around the world is the hallmark of our brand promise," Ann Hoff, president and COO of Bellagio, when the hotel announced its renovation plans. "The Spa Tower's beautiful and luxurious new suites and guest rooms will reinforce our position as one of the hospitality industry's premier destinations."
If you do, for some reason, want to venture out of this heavenly space, the Bellagio has much more to offer. That includes access to its shows like "O" by Cirque du Soleil and Mayfair After Dark, and world-class dining like Prime Steakhouse by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Spago by chef Wolfgang Puck, and the ever-entertaining Mayfair Supper Club.
Guests at the Bellagio can also book time at the Bellagio Spa & Salon, which offers a range of massages, facials, nail, and hair treatments, or spend the day lounging by the Mediterranean-style pool, complete with al fresco poolside dining and cabanas available for day rentals.
