HENDERSON, Nev. — Emerald Island and Rainbow Club Casinos are proud to announce the promotion of Courtney Garland to director of operations at both casino properties located in downtown Henderson’s Water Street District. Garland will be the new key force in elevating the casinos’ day-to-day operations while ensuring new heights for guests the moment they walk through the door. In her new role, Garland will be responsible for facilitating guest services, upholding gaming compliances, aiding in player outreach, while also developing and enforcing new policies to ensure safety and quality of service remain a top priority.
“It is a pleasure to introduce Courtney to this new role as director of operations at both Emerald Island and Rainbow Club Casinos,” said CEO Tim Brooks. “I have had the unique pleasure and experience to work with Courtney firsthand as she’s been with our casinos for six years, having started as an executive casino host advancing fast through our company. Garland will continue to aid in the growth and success of both properties while making sure guests, many of whom already know her, are well taken care of. I look forward to seeing Courtney’s expertise shine through in this new role and can’t wait for the resulting success stories to follow.”
Before Garland’s promotion to director of operations, she served as assistant general manager, at the Emerald Island Casino, assisting with team trainings, implementing promotions, and maintaining player tracking systems. Garland also has several years of professional experience, having worked in marketing, media communications, and hospitality. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Garland developed a passion for the casino industry through her parents who both dedicated their careers to innovating the gaming industry. When Garland is not working, you can catch her cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights, helping out through community service projects, or in the kitchen mastering a meal.
