Dutch KSA Hires Three New Gambling Addiction Advisors for Cruks
The Centraal Register Uitsluiting Kansspelen (Cruks) will be overseen by three external advisors appointed by the country's gambling regulator KANSSPelautoriteit.
Marcel Marijnissen, Bas Brons and Mieke Hoste have been appointed as gambling addiction advisors for Cruks. They will be able to "advise on the system" and help players to transfer to licensed gaming sites. The new report by the Dutch government stated that by ordering unlicensed operators not to accept bets from Dutch players, it has helped players transfer. As of November 1, 3,500 people have registered at Cruk's. The government changed its stance on all operators who are passively accepting bets. Many reputable brands were blocked.
