Detroit's casinos are planning to reopen this week. They have been shut down for over a month. The casinos have projected $50 million in losses by the spring if they remain shuttered.
Detroit Casinos Open Doors on Wednesday, December 23. Results dropped by over 55% across all three Detroit properties for the first 11 months of the year. Health authorities are limiting gatherings of more than 100 persons within any space.
The casino is working with the Michigan Gaming Control Board and public health officials.
