Chicago Showered with Proposals as Single Casino License for Grabs

There is a single casino license up for grabs in Chicago. Five companies are interested in the license.

Bally's Corporation is seeking approval for a $1.6 billion casino resort in Chicago. Bally has two proposals for the project. Hard Rock International and Rivers 78 are also interested in the market access. The first phase of the casino would cost $2 billion and include 4,000 gaming spots, 400 rooms and 20,00 square feet of indoor exhibition space. It would be self-managed. HR Chicago, LLC will manage the second phase through Hard Rink International. They will work with various community-based and not-for-profit organizations and colleges to create jobs.
