Beyond Southern California
A few months ago, the state of Virginia issued its first casino license. The Bristol Casino opened on July 8 and took in more than $37.5 million in wagers through July 14. It also paid out more than $33.7 in winnings, about 90 percent of what was wagered. The Associated Press has more.
