Casino Insider: Las Vegas buffets and entertainment make a comeback; Resorts World announces opening details
A new Las Vegas resort will open in late June. It will be the place to catch the residencies of Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan. Other resorts are bringing back shows that were halted for most of the pandemic and expanding capacity on their gaming floors. Some resorts also bring back their buffets after having them closed for more than a year.
Media Company and Toronto Star owner Torstar plans to launch an online casino betting brand in 2020 pending approval by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
