It’s another week and another increase to the progressive jackpot in the Caledonia Catch the Ace fundraiser.
At the Dec. 7 draw, Mike Irwin’s ticket was pulled from the drum. He had picked envelope No. 43, which was opened to reveal the 10 of diamonds. Since the card wasn’t the ace of spades, the fundraiser will return to the Caledonia Legion (29 Caithness St. E.) on Dec. 14. Weekly draw tickets will be on sale from 2 to 7:40 p.m.
