Caledonia Catch the Ace progressive jackpot keeps growing
The Catch the Ace progressive jackpot in Caledonia continues to grow, and more money is being raised for the Community Support Centre Haldimand-Norfolk. So far, over $361,000 has been grossed for the not-for-profit.
At the Dec. 14 draw, a ticket with Elaine DeBoer’s name on it was pulled from the drum and envelope No. 26 was subsequently opened. That revealed the five of hearts instead of the ace of spades, meaning that while DeBoer won the weekly prize of $8,808, the fundraiser will be back at the Caledonia Legion, 29 Caithness St. E. on Dec. 21. The guaranteed jackpot currently sits just below $217,000.
