If you have been looking for a little fun and excitement out in the Capay Valley, then you likely know all about Cache Creek Casino Resort.

The casino has been providing quality entertainment to the valley for over 30 years and the plan is to continue that right out of the pandemic.

“We are currently open for full occupancy, but our gaming floor today operates with significantly fewer overall gaming positions when compared to pre-pandemic,” stated Public Information Officer for the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation Ben Deci. “It is configured intentionally to create social distancing space. In addition, we continue to work with medical experts and public health officials to protect the safety and comfort of our guests and employees.”

Along with some new rules and regulations, the casino also features some new restaurants, machines, events and everything else in-between to anyone who arrives.

A new gaming lounge and center bar called Elevate Lounge have been added to the casino floor along with new slot machines, including the extremely popular Buffalo Link machine. The casino also holds free entertainment every weekend.

As part of our South Tower expansion, the casino was able to add 459 new hotel rooms and a 1,275-seat Event Center.

“Demand is high, and feedback from our loyal guests and first-time visitors alike has been incredibly positive,” stated Deci. “The additional rooms and suites, as well as expanded amenities, allow us to better serve existing patrons and introduce Cache Creek to a whole new audience. We are equally enthusiastic about the opportunity to host events in our flexible and unique meeting spaces suited for groups of all sizes.”

On top of the extra rooms and center, several meeting or banquet spaces have also been added along with a new bar and lounge space called 16 West, a new space for their award-winning steakhouse C2 Steak & Seafood, and a new sushi bar and restaurant called Enso.

“Enso provides guests with a truly authentic taste of Japan with a wide variety of fresh sushi and sashimi, as well as traditional and innovative Japanese favorites,” Deci stated.

The Event Center, which the casino is excited to show off, is set to begin holding shows and concerts by mid-August.

On Sep. 4, the band Train will be playing in the new center starting at 8 p.m. Train is a multi-Grammy and Billboard award-winning band with 14 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 list since the release of their debut self-titled album.

Later in the month, on September 10, legendary musical group The Beach Boys will be playing in the center starting at 7:30 p.m. Finally, on September 18, the Mid-Autumn Chinese Concert is set to take place. Annabelle Lui & Yang Yen will be performing starting at 8 p.m.

“The feedback from our guests has been very positive,” Deci stated. “They’re excited to see their favorite slot machines turned back on and looking forward to the entertainment schedule we have lined up. That being said, we are continuing with rigorous cleaning protocols around the property, regular COVID testing of employees, and we encourage non-vaccinated guests to continue wearing masks.”
