An employee at La Huerta restaurant in Arkansas was shot dead after he won a prize at a casino. The victim was found in the kitchen. Police are looking for a black or grey pickup.
Fidel Mercado Reyes, 40, was shot in the back of the head in La Huerta restaurant in Gentry, Oklahoma. Martin Eduardo Tavarez Torres, 21, a new cook, is suspected of committing the crime. He was helping the suspect, Torres, settle in Arkansas. Torres has a history of driving under the influence and reckless driving. A GoFundMe has been set to cover the expenses for the funeral. The suspect is accused of aggravated assault, first-degree battery and attempted capital murder/capital murder. His bond amount hasn't been established.
