BRUNSWICK, OH – A Brunswick local has hit the jackpot, winning $165,297 in the Ohio Lottery’s EZPLAY Lucky Numbers game. The winning ticket was purchased at Manzos Thunder Road, located at 65 Pearl Rd.

After deductions for mandatory state and federal taxes, totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home approximately $119,013.84.

EZPLAY Lucky Numbers is a progressive jackpot game, which means the jackpot increases with each ticket sold, offering players increasing potential winnings.

  • Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Aggravated Assault Suspects

    Philadelphia, PA – The Central Detective Division is requesting the public's assistance in identifying two individuals involved in an aggravated assault in the 22nd District. Surveillance video capturing the suspects has been released.

    On June 19, at approximately 11:56 PM, the incident occurred on the 2600 block of North Broad Street. The complainant was walking when the suspects approached from behind and assaulted him, causing severe head trauma. Surveillance footage shows the suspects at a convenience store before the assault.

    The suspects are described as follows:

    • Suspect #1: A Black male with a thin build and dark skin, dressed in dark clothing and wearing a white mask.
    • Suspect #2: A Black male with a medium build and light skin, wearing a blue hat, black t-shirt, black shorts, and blue sneakers.

  • Boston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Mattapan

    Boston, MA – On Friday, July 5, at approximately 12:23 PM, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Gladeside Avenue and Donwood Terrace. Upon arrival, officers found two victims inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

    One victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The male victim, who had sustained life-threatening injuries, was also transported to a hospital but was later pronounced deceased.
