April Brings Over $210 million in Gambling Revenue for PA

April was another stellar month for PA online casinos, with the Pennsylvania Gambling Control Board (PGCB) reporting gross monthly revenue from iGaming to have reached $212.2.

Although the previous month’s $233 million record is going to prove very hard to top, online casinos in the Keystone State appear to be keeping the $200 million benchmark as a constant in the past months, never once dipping under since February of this year.

26.39% Increase Recorded from April Last Year

Casino games offered online generated monthly gross revenue totaling $173,425,559 during April 2024 compared to $137,214,750 in April 2023, an increase of 26.39%. With the total tax revenue generated from internet gaming play during last month being $75,617,783, it appears that the state of Pennsylvania is set to continue riding the online gambling wave for quite a while yet.

Meanwhile, as expected, slots raked in the highest revenue with $126,013,832, slightly lower than the previous month’s $135,519,554. Table games brought in significantly less than half with $45,006,006, also dipping somewhat from March’s total of just over $53,000,000. Poker remains lagging behind, generating some $2,405,721 in income, although if the multi-state poker online compact things could change very fast. Still, with PA online casinos raking in an impressive total of $173,425,559, no-one’s complaining.
