A million punters are quids-in as no one wins £15m jackpot prize in special 'must be won' lottery draw
More than a million lottery punters were in the money when Saturday night's draw failed to produce a jackpot winner.
The £15million "must be won" jackpot was shared out among prize winners in the lower tiers of the draw, with more than a million who matched just two numbers getting £5 and a free Lucky Dip for Wednesday's draw.
Wednesday’s National Lottery top prize will now be an estimated £2million.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: “It’s amazing news for more than 1.1 million Lotto players who have won £5 plus a free Lucky Dip for matching just two main numbers in tonight’s special £15million Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ draw.”
A total of 67 ticket-holders matched five numbers to win £9,017 each, 4,346 winners matched four numbers to scoop £295, and a total of 109,249 ticket-holders matched three numbers to win £105 each.
A total of 1,127,293 ticket-holders won a free Lucky Dip and £5 for matching two numbers.
The winning Lotto numbers were 53, 32, 44, 45, 52, 19 and the bonus number is 12.
Set of balls nine and draw machine Arthur were used.
No one matched all five numbers to win the Lotto HotPicks, but five people got four numbers to claim £13,000.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 13, 07, 17, 19, 35 and the Thunderball was 11.
No-one won the top prize of £500,000, but one winner matched five numbers to bag £5,000.
