No-one scooped Saturday’s “must-be-won” lottery jackpot, meaning the £12 million prize was shared between multiple ticketholders.

One lucky player became a new millionaire after winning the next biggest prize of £1.1 million for matching five numbers and the bonus ball.

A total of 96 people won the next prize of £4,327 after matching five of the six numbers, while 7,166 ticketholders pocketed £188 for matching four of six numbers.

The winning Lotto numbers were 25, 39, 13, 31, 14 and 37 – and the bonus number was 04.

Set of balls six and draw machine Arthur were used.

Wednesday’s estimated jackpot is £2 million.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said: “What fantastic news – a big jackpot rolldown in tonight’s whopping £12 million Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ draw has resulted in a new millionaire being created after one lucky ticketholder matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.

“More than 1.4 million players also won £5 plus a free Lucky Dip just for matching two main numbers.

“As no ticketholder won the jackpot, the prize is shared between all the other winners.

“Players are urged to check their tickets and give us a call if they think they are one of tonight’s lucky winners.”

No-one matched all five numbers to win the £350,000 top prize in Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw.

There were also no winners of the Thunderball top prize of £500,000, but four players secured the next biggest prize of £5,000 after matching five numbers.

The Thunderball numbers were 24, 13, 11, 04 and 39 – and the Thunderball was 09.
