Californians are supposed to vote to allow sports betting and gambling this fall. One of the initiatives proposed by US gambling giants FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM imposes complicated requirements that would be difficult for smaller-size competitors to meet.

The New Jersey legalized gambling and it's expected that more states will follow suit. iGaming brings new job opportunities to the state's market. California would gain a budget increase if the initiative is approved. $100M is a sum that gambling companies will be supposed to pay as a license fee to exercise business in the California state.

The $100M license fee is much higher than in any other state seeking to make gambling legal. New York has the highest license fees in the country.
