Wynn Resorts Becomes First Operator in Las Vegas Strip to Return to 100% Capacity
Wynn Resorts has announced that its two Las Vegas Strip casinos – Wynn and Encore – will return to full capacity, effective immediately.
The group said it received the green light to operate at 100% from the Nevada Gaming Control Board after reporting that 88% of its employees had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
It becomes the first Vegas Strip operator to return to full capacity throughout the state since the Covid-19 pandemic caused all casinos to shut down in March 2020.
Masks are still required inside the casinos, but all distancing requirements and plexiglass dividers will be removed from table games and slot machines.
“Our employees and guests will continue to follow health and safety guidelines, including mask compliance, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all,” a statement from Wynn read.
