Forget the wedding registry, a Seaview Downs couple can’t wait to spoil their son and future daughter-in-law on their wedding day with their $100,000 win in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot.

The South Australians won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10604, drawn Monday 4 July 2022.

“Woah, what a surprise!” the winning man cheered when an official from The Lott confirmed their win.

“I had a couple of missed calls earlier, and I’m guessing it was you! I couldn’t answer the phone as I was driving.

“We’re on an interstate holiday at the moment, so this has just made our trip even better!”

While the elated man believed the winning news immediately, his wife took a little more convincing and asked to speak directly with lottery officials.

“It’s real?! Oh my god! I’m breathless!” she added.

“I kept telling him, ‘Make sure you confirm this isn’t a prank’. How marvellous! I can’t believe it.”

When asked how they planned to enjoy their $100,000 windfall, the happy duo shared it would go towards their son’s wedding.

“Our son is tying the knot soon with his fiancé, so we will help them out with the wedding!” the winning husband explained.

“Otherwise, we’ll set aside the prize and put it towards our nest egg.”

Their winning entry of 10 random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $11.81 million for draw 1580, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $17.44 million for draw 10605.
