Kingston Man To Embrace Home Ownership With $200,000 Lottery Win
A Kingston man can happily say farewell to renting after receiving a phone call from lottery officials revealing he scored $200,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The Tasmanian blue-collar worker won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1578, drawn Monday 27 June 2022.
“Are you f****** kidding me? You’ve made my day!” he yelled.
“I’m just driving the work truck now, and I have to pull over or I might have a heart attack!
“I won $4,000 in Powerball last week, and I thought that was awesome. This is even better.
“Some might say I’m on a winning streak. That’s cool!
“This is one way to beat the Monday blues. I can’t believe it.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his blissful bounty, the Apple Isle winner immediately knew it would go towards his first home.
“That’s a house deposit, for sure! I’ve wanted to buy my very own home for such a long time,” he said.
“I can do it now – sweet!”
His winning entry of 10 random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $11.57 million for draw 1579, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $16.92 million for draw 10601.
In 2021, 127 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.
