VICI Properties Completes Acquisition in Alberta

VICI Properties Inc. acquired the real estate assets of the biggest casinos in Alberta. The casinos belonged to PURE Canadian Gaming Corp. VICi Properties bought them for an aggregate purchase price of about C$271.9 million.
VICI Properties has signed a 25-year lease agreement with PURE. The initial rent will be C$21.8 million (US$16.1 million). The agreement includes 4 5- year tenant renewal options. VICi Properties completed the acquisition of the Pure Portfolio in Alberta.
VICI Properties completed acquisition of MGM Grand Las Vegas and Mandalay Bay Joint Venture casinos in Canada. VICi properties owns 49 gaming facilities in the U.S. and Canada and leases its properties to leading operators. The portfolio includes some of the most prominent casinos, Caesars Palace Las. Vegas, MGM, and Venetian Resort Las, as well as four championship golf courses and land next to the Las Las Vitesse Strip.
