Vegas casino adds interactive playground
Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, has opened a new interactive entertainment destination.
Play Playground is 15,000sq.ft space that features large scale immersive and tactile games.
There is no VR involved, with guests instead immersed in the games thanks to high-level theming and set design.
20 different games are available, including Ringer Run, where guests must make their way from one end of a rainbow road to another while guiding a ring that cannot touch the track. Other games are Doctor Doctor, where players must work together to put a patient back together in the correct order and Frolic, where players must follow the lights on the dancefloor without making a mistake.
Winning in scored games awards players points, which can then be spent in the redemption store at the end of play. Once guests are finished, they can also pose for a photo with the venue’s 15ft tall “PlayPal.”
An extensive bar and restaurant is also available, serving F&B to guests during play.
Guests must be 12 and over to play until 5pm, after which time the venue becomes 21 and over.
