The Regional Ministry of Health has banned games of chance in bars and restaurants. It later added slot machines to the list.
The High Court of Justice of the Community of Valencia suspended the ban on slot machines in bars and restaurants. The decision was made by the Regional Ministry of Health of Valencian Community. It was taken in response to the ongoing crisis in the autonomous community.
Industry representatives object to the extension of the ban on gambling machines. The High Court of Justice rules that the objection was justified. It allows the use of slot machines in bars. The government launched a public consultation on a draft Royal Decree regulating online gambling in Spain.
