Upper Marlboro Retailer Sells $65,967 FAST PLAY Payday Ticket

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – Congratulations to our latest FAST PLAY winner! Someone bought a $65,967 winning ticket in the Payday progressive jackpot game at Kettering BP in Upper Marlboro.
The lucky sale occurred on March 1 at the Prince George’s County convenience store, which is located at 10604 Campus Way South. This is the 11 progressive jackpot that’s been won in the $5 game.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. Winners get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.
The lucky Lottery retailer also recently sold a $100,000-winning MONOPOLY™ X50 scratch-off, which a player claimed at Lottery headquarters on March 1. Kettering BP earns bonuses from the Lottery for selling both winning tickets. The bonus for the scratch-off is $1,000 and the bonus for the Payday ticket is $659.67. The FAST PLAY bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
The Payday game has nine remaining progressive jackpot prizes, along with 10 unclaimed $5,000 prizes. The progressive jackpot starts at $40,000 and rises with the sale of each ticket until a jackpot-winning ticket is sold.
