UKGC reports a 14% decline in active online gambling accounts. May's online gaming gross gaming yield (GGY) fell to £5.3 billion. Sports betting registered its lowest month of the year at £238 million. Slots GGY climbed to £211 million despite a 5% decrease in accounts to 3 million people.
The Commission has published the qualitative customer feedback gathered by 2CV throughout the epidemic period. The Commission noted that the input backed up the quantitative research. Participants spent more time gaming and experimented with new gambling products.
