UKGC Hits iGaming Firm Greentube with a £685,000 Fine. Novamatic subsidiary Greetube has to pony up £5,300, because of social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures.
UK Gambling Commission has ordered Novamatic subsidiary Greentube Alderney Limited to pay a £685,000 fine.
UKGC fined Greentube £685,000 for not complying with the LCCP requirements. Greetube subsidiaries Admiralcasino.co.uk and Bellfruitcasinos.com had failings in money laundering and player protection safeguards. Greentein had also failed to submit six suspicious activity reports to the National Crime Agency. The submission of SARS is a requirement stipulated by the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and Terrorism Act 2000.
Greentube accepts that its customer interactions were over reliant on its £1,000 30-day net loss threshold. UKGC took another online casino subsidiary to task last month after allegations that Flutter-owned Sky Vegas offered free spins to gambling addicts.
