Daub Alderney Limited was ordered to pay a $8.06 million fine by the Gambling Commission for breaches of its social responsibility and anti-money laundering procedures. Daub was purchased by British gaming behemoth Rank Group in October of 2019 as part of an arrangement worth approximately £115 million ($158 million)

Regulator claims Daud Alderney Limited has failed to put into effect policies and procedures for the timely identification of problem gambling via interaction with customers. One player lost $59,814 in four months while using four payment cards and reversing requested withdrawals worth $184,455.
Daub Alderney Limited violated the Gambling Commission's anti-money laundering safeguards. One player managed to stow £50,000 in deposits without having to supply adequate source of funds evidence. Another player stowed £41,500 in a month and lost £53,00 over 8 months.
Gambling Commission fined Daub Alderney Limited a lot. Helen Venn, Executive Director for the Commission, said that the investigation was part of a planned compliance activity. She warned all United Kingdom-licensed iGaming operators that her organization intends to take firm action against those who fail to raise standards.
