The city of Henderson stopped supplying raw water to Lake Las Vegas on July 1. The water supply was limited because Lake Mead dropped below the elevation at which the Basic Water Co. intake could pump water. Lake Vegas has a permit to capture 2,000 acre feet of stormwater annually. It has one water meter for seven commercial users. The master developer of Lake las Vegas says they're focused on conservation and removing non-functional turf will be the first step.
