The body of a man found on Lake Mead near Las Vegas has renewed the public's fascination with The Mob. The man was wearing a metal overcoat in the shape of barrel. Oscar Goodman, who defended Las Las Mobsters, claims to know who did it.

The body of a man was found in a steel barrel in Lake Mead on May 1. It was uncovered due to the megadrought that is causing Lake's waters to recede at a record rate. The victim was shot in the head and wearing clothes and shoes bought from Kmart in '70s or '80s. Attorney and former Las Vegas Mayor, Goodman, believes DNA evidence could help solve the case. He represented Mob figures Meyer Lansky, Frank Rosenthal and Anthony 'Tony the Ant' Spilotro. He also served as Las Vegans Mayor for 12 years from 1999. DailyMail.com was invited into the book and art-lined library of the home he shares with wife Carolyn, the current mayor of Vegas.

Goodman believes the Mob in Las Vegas no longer exists. He believes that the Omerta, the code of silence, has been abandoned. The RICO statute has also increased the penalties for serious crimes. Goodman was a lawyer for The Mob and he had a case in Philadelphia where he was trying to get a conviction for a man who had broken off an engagement to the daughter of a mobster. He has a bar called Oscars in downtown Vegas and created TheMob Museum in the city while he's mayor. It used to be like the wild west in Vegas. Now it's much tougher for someone to become a real mobsters.
