Top 10 memories from a gambling trip to New York
A few days ago, I spent a few nights in the Saratoga and Schenectady areas in New York and did some gambling at both casinos. The location of the hotel was great. It was close to the Travers Day at Saratsog Race Course and 25 minutes from the Rivers Casino & Resort Scenectad.
Lake George is a great place to visit. There are many souvenirs shops, places to eat and play games, and a distillery. The distiller served flights where you could taste any three of their products and keep the glass for only $8. There's also boat rides, parasailing and Prospect Mountain.

The Porch is a casual spot at Saratoga Race Course. It's a short walk from the betting windows and you can take 10 steps to the railing of the track. The Porching offers a good selection of food, apps and drinks. The dealer at Theporch was one of best I have had. He was conversational but didn't let it change the speed of his dealing. Rivers Casino Schenectady is clean and well-kept. There are more than 60 table games in the casino. You have to hit a minimum of $25 per person to get a table. Saratsoga is about 30 minutes away from The porch.
