OnlineCasino.ca, a online casino database out of Canada, is searching for that someone special to fill the role of official Las Vegas Margarita Tester. And that very lucky person will not only get to head to Las Vegas with a friend for a week to taste-test all the margaritas they’d like, but they’ll also get a $4,000 stipend to do it.
“You know what they say – if life gives you limes, make margaritas,” the website’s job listing reads. “And what better way to enjoy sipping on the perfect blend of sweet, sour, and salty than in Sin City itself?”
Entering to win is easy. All you need to do is fill out the form (here), which asks for all the usual details, as well as the all-important question, “What is your favorite cocktail?”
To enter, you must be a resident of Canada or the U.S. and must be at least 21 years old.
The winner of this dream role will take over the “job” for seven days sometime between Nov. 1, 2023, and Feb. 29, 2024. While there, the tester is asked to drink “each day at different bars/venues/locations in Las Vegas [and] to rate each drink in accordance with the guidelines on the Competition webpage.”
Additionally, the tester will have to take a photo that will be displayed next to each drink on their official reviews. The reviews must be completed within five working days of the trip’s end. The $4,000 can be used by the winner to cover their travel costs, and any incidentals along the way. (Note: while the winner can bring a plus one, the stipend is not intended to cover their costs. But that’s really between you and your travel companion.)
Entries are now open. The application closes on Sunday, Oct. 1, so get yours in. Then, start plotting out a list of all the places you want to grab a margarita in Vegas.
