The Simpsons and gambling are a good match. There have been many episodes with this theme since the show's inception.
Season 1, Episode 1 (Roasting On an Open Fire) is the first episode in the longest-running American sitcom. Homer takes a job as a department store Santa to make ends meet for Christmas. He borrows money from Mr. Burns to buy Marge a gift. On Christmas Eve, Homer has to go to the dog track to win back his money.
Homer's twin brother Herbert Powell takes Homer to Las Vegas. Homer thinks he can win at roulette by betting on 32, but he loses everything he brought with him. He wins by taking all numbers ending with 2, which was his birthday date.
Season 10, Episode 10 (Viva Ned Flanders) is about Ned and Homer's trip to Las Vegas. Ned wins a lot of money by betting on the coin toss that opens the Super Bowl.
Homer Simpson goes to Las Vegas and meets Mary, the daughter of Krusty the Clown. KRusty became a millionaire by investing his money in casinos. Homer loses a lot of money at the casinos and tries to win back the money he lost.
Bart becomes a poker prodigy in The President Wore Pearls. Bart's family cheers him on from home. The Simpsons are seen playing poker at a table.
The Simpsons is an excellent inspiration for gambling fans. The games of Caesars Palace, the Springfield Bowl and many others are as incredible as in real life.
