The Senecas are in debt to New York State for casino revenues. They were forced to pay $568.4 million. The current compact expires at the end of 2023. Seneca members rallied for a fair compact at a weekend protest. The Sen Cecas have provided many jobs in the region. Even opponents of the casinos acknowledge that they have been an economic driver. Like many of their customers, Sence should be good losers and look to the future.
