(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) St. Joseph Frontier Casino is undergoing a huge remodel and wants to share what they've changed.
The casino is a fast-paced and entertaining environment, always with something to do.
Currently, they're undergoing a remodel to turn their western-style interior to a more modern look to attract more people.
"This upgrade I think will bring some people back that haven't been here in a while, and bring people here that haven't been here at all. And also, some of the individuals that are in between us and the city, that may be in the city for a bit of a different experience, may start to migrate back here as well. Next friday is our grand opening, we're giving a lot of money away, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we're giving away $10,000, we encourage everyone to come down and see the new place." Stated the general manager.
The renovations include new chandeliers, flooring, an updated bar, and more.
Along with renovations, the casino is introducing over 10 new machines.
"In addition to the new games that we've added and the new themes, I wanted to accentuate that our progressive jackpots have reached high totals, this is the highest one we have on the floor, $20,000, but we have a few more on the floor at $20,000 or approaching $20,000." Said Becky Voyles, Gaming operations director.
While the process has been tough, as the staff have had to move machines weighing 100-900 pounds, they are set to finish renovations by next Friday and will celebrate their grand re-opening with a ribbon cutting and some giveaways.
