Customers can access a wide range of traditional casino games on the app, as well as a selection of online slot titles on smartphones and tablet devices.

The app also features a number of responsible gambling and safe gaming tools, including the option to set deposit limits and self-exclude from gambling on the app on a temporary or permanent basis.

In addition, all games and payment processing options on the app have been verified and certified by the L’Agenzia delle Dogane e Monopoli, Italy’s customs and monopoly agency.

“The release of the first native app is the last step, in chronological order, of the digital innovation path through which Sisal aims to develop and manage increasingly advanced proprietary technologies and gaming systems,” Sisal said.

The launch comes after Sisal last month , charting progress towards its goals of no problem gamblers, CO2 emissions or gender pay gap by 2030.

Regarding its goal to eliminate problem gambling with its products, Sisal reduced deposit limits last year in addition to conducting research on over 15,000 online customers to analyse their gaming behaviours.

It also introduced an algorithm to identify at risk players and launched a training course for employees and networks at points of sale.

In August, Sisal announced a demerger of its payments subsidiary – Mooney Group – from its B2C gambling operations.

Sisal currently holds 70% of shares in Mooney Group, but these will be transferred to a new holding company – SG2 S.p.A – which will be owned by CVC Capital Partners: the private equity business that owns Sisal.

The remaining B2C gambling business, which is currently controlled by Sisal S.p.A, will then be transferred to Sisal Group. At present, Sisal Group is the parent company of both Sisal S.p.A and Mooney Group.
