Russell Catch the Ace jackpot to eclipse $649K next week as major prize AGAIN goes unclaimed
EMBRUN — The Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace lottery draw reached a new record today — matching the length of Arnprior’s Catch the Ace May 2021 fifty-week game — as the jackpot again went unclaimed and the number of unopened envelopes dwindled to just three.
The July 11 draw saw Coel Storey of Embrun capture the weekly win of $42,241. However, he picked envelope 40, which revealed the Two of Hearts.
Three envelopes now remain, one of which contains the ace and estimated jackpot of over $649,000 for next week’s draw. The weekly win will again eclipse $40,000 as well.
The local lottery has already earned over $850,000 for local charities.
