Responsible Gambling Council Launches Ontario Campaign
The Responsible Gambling Council launched its newest awareness campaign, which is called "Mindfulness Before Gambling". The campaign is aimed at Ontario gamblers. Ontario has recently closed down all of its land-based casino properties, leaving fans with the option of only playing online.
“Mindfulness Before Gambling’s” campaign is targeting Ontario residents between the ages of 35 and 55. It started in December 2021 and will continue to mid-February this year. The campaign uses three 15-second video spots that utilize symbols of mindfulness apps. The All-In Diversity Project‘s task was to educate gaming brands in the industry and help them to take action in right direction. Their common goal was providing a better understanding of diversity and inclusivity in gaming sector.
There has been a rise of online gambling during the lockdown restrictions. Credit Canada reports that more people blame online wagering for their financial misfortune.
