Renovated Billionaire Casino in Kiev Re-Opens for Guests
Luxury casino in Kiev, Ukraine, opened its doors to guests after undergoing a major overhaul of its VIP gambling space.
The Billionaire Casino in Kiev re-opened after a renovation. The casino features around 50 slot machines and 14 new luxury table games and roulette wheels. Ukraine's president signed a law to allow gambling in the country. The law requires casinos to apply for operating licenses according to established criteria. It also requires that they prevent people from Russia, Iran or North Korea from participating in operations.
The law implemented a differentiated approach with regards to the cost of casino licenses. Permits in the capital Kiev fetch €3.8 million ($4.5 million), while in any other part of the country, the fee is €2.2 million $2,6 million. Casinos also pay a 12. 5% gambling tax on revenue from slot machines and table games.
