Kyrgyzstan Passes Land and Online Casino Bill for Foreigners
The bill on gambling in Kyrgyzstan has been passed with 59 votes in favor and seven against. It covers only foreign players at the moment.
The legislation that legalizes gambling in Kyrgyz Republic was passed on the third reading. Deputies Aigul Aidarova, Adakhan Madumarov, Ishack Masaliev, and Emil Toktoshev abstained from voting. Dastan Bekesheva wanted to see the online gambling initiative removed from the bill, but his proposal was rejected.
Kyrgyzstan has passed a law regarding land and online casinos for foreigners. The law requires casinos to be set up inside hotel complexes and restaurants with a minimum of 100 seats for restaurants and 20 rooms for hotels. Casinos set in the capital should have at least ten gaming tables. Slot halls and casinos need to feature currency exchange bureaus with license issued by the national bank and security measures. Players will not be allowed to use credit cards or take out loans to gamble.
